Strong and Flexible Boat Protection

Strong and Flexible Boat Protection

HydroHoist Marine Group (HMG), an industry leader in boat lifts, recently introduced the HydroGuard Boat Protection Package.

The boat protection package includes a bow guide and two corner bumpers that attach to the dock.

The products are made from durable polyethylene, the same material used to make HydroHoist boat lift tanks. It is strong, yet flexible and will hold up under any marine conditions – salt or fresh water.

The package is designed to offer a high degree of protection. The hollow units absorb energy and reduce vessel damage.

The bow guide helps center the boat in the slip while offering protection to the boat’s keel. The corner bumpers offer peace of mind when docking.

These Hatch Covers Resist The Heat

These Hatch Covers Resist The Heat

Outland Hatch Covers, owned by twin brothers Steve and James Outland, has found a successful use of Vycom’s Celtec material for fabricating their boat hatch covers, which provides UV protection for the acrylic lens of deck hatches.

The brothers developed Outland Hatch Covers as a two-piece unit using Vycom’s Celtec 2 mm and 3 mm material and a patented fastener.

The Celtec covers help to reduce heat, making it more comfortable inside the boat, and prevent fabrics and wooden surfaces from fading.

The Outlands customize covers for any size of hatch; however, they stock standard sizes.  Vinyl graphics or routed designs are available.

Vycom offers products for Olefin and PVC needs. For information, call 800/235-8320 or visit
