HydroHoist Boat Lifts Launches Most Versatile Lift

HarborHoist is the most versatile, free-floating boat lift on the market. Built to protect the value of a vessel in adverse weather conditions and the harsh marine environment. The unit is constructed with rugged, marine-grade, impact-resistant polyethylene tanks and an aluminum frame to extend the life of the product. With a capacity to handle vessels from 4,400 to 25,000 pounds, HarborHoist is constructed of the highest quality materials to enhance longevity in salt water applications. In addition, HarborHoist includes a self-leveling lift system for added safety when launching and stowing. It is compatible with fixed or floating docks and works with all types of dock applications including: U-shaped, double-wide slips, L-shaped or square dock spaces. The hull support system can be configured for nearly all types of boats, including stern drive, outboard, tow/wake, pontoon and tritoons.

HarborHoist is equipped with a push-button controller and non-skid walkways mounted to the top of the tanks that run the full length for easy access in both the up or down position. This allows for easy and safe loading and unloading of passengers.

“We have seen incredible reception to smaller versions of the HarborHoist we introduced this year and received immediate requests to increase lifting capacity,” said Mick Webber, CEO, HydroHoist Marine Group. “To meet customer demand, we increased the size of the product, maximized lift capacity and increased the flexibility of the types of boats supported.

Boat lifts reduce vessel maintenance and ensure the highest resale value of the boat by stopping marine growth from accumulating and facilitate easy cleaning. They also protect the hull by preventing it from hitting the dock during inclement weather, control water osmosis and prevent electrolysis. In addition, boat lifts are far superior to trailering or dry stack storage by giving boat owners immediate access to the water.

Dockmate Receives Official Factory Approval From Volvo Penta

Manufacturer of Wireless Yacht Remote Controls Now Compatible with Volvo′s EVC Gateway

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Dockmate, manufacturer of advanced wireless remote controls for yachts, announced today it has received official factory approval from Volvo Penta. After extensive testing for any potential compatibility issues, Dockmate has obtained approval to connect to the Volvo Penta electronic vessel control EVC-E and EVC-2. Flush Tie Downs Help Secure Gear To Any Deck Surface

Clean lines enhance any boat′s appeal, but that smooth look can make it difficult to find spots for securing loose gear. Cast stainless steel Accon Marine Tie Downs provide ideal anchor points for holding fenders or equipment in place while blending discreetly into the deck.

Available in large 3.5-inch square by 1.25-inch deep and small 2-inch square by 1-inch deep sizes, these streamlined tie downs mount nearly flush to the deck. They′re ideal for use on poling or swim platforms, casting decks and other areas where gear like scuba tanks, fishing tackle or fenders must be secured.

To install Accon Marine Tie Downs, users simply drill a 2.5-inch hole for the large model or a 1.5-inch hole for the small version, then secure it in place with four screws. An included sealing cup protects against accidental water intrusion. In independent testing, the small tie down held up to 3,000 lbs. of strain without failing.

Apart from boat decks, stainless steel Accon Marine Tie Downs are ideal for use on docks, tenders and personal watercraft. Sold individually, the large and small tie downs carry suggested retail prices of $48.26 and $21.07 respectively.
